🍽️ Between Santiago and the Lagoa de Santo André, Monte da Vinha offers good quality and homemade food at a fair price. Almost everything that comes from the earth comes directly from the admirable vegetable garden behind the house to your plate, Lénia prepares each dish with dedication and lots of love and care.

🍺 On summer days, sit on the terrace with a cool drink and get into the Alentejo rhythm while tasting some olives from the region with some Alentejo bread. Service is slow, like everything in Alentejo, so take your time to eat and enjoy meeting the local people.

🍲 Fried eels and Chicken with roasted peppers are the specialties of the house, for those who like an Alentejo soup, the tomato soup with codfish, egg and bread is also a good choice, or the octopus salad. With your bica (espresso), ask for an "alcomonia" (a regional homemade sweet, made with flour and pine kernel), although they may have a peculiar taste, they are delicious and with a coffee they form a combination made in heaven.
