10 minutes by car from Reserva Alecrim
Very close to the Miróbriga Ruins, there is the Quintinha Windmill, with four sails and four pairs of sticks, built before 1813 (the date is not well known) - restored by the municipality.
The friendly official explains the process of milling the cereals, which is still used today in the most rural areas to make bread and corn porridge. The popular tradition says that in Portugal almost all millers had a black dog to know when the dog had investigated or played with the flour. :-)
